Tango Sketch - original charcoal figurative drawing by Connie Chadwell

Here's a quick charcoal dancer sketch that didn't stray too far from its gestural beginnings. It's about 12 x 9" on plate bristol. Thanks so much for stopping by! SOLD

So beautiful and lovely (her) and strong and wonderful (him)! I just love it!

I can feel the pose like I was the woman dancer. It is the final end of the dance and the lady gives her trust to the man. The man feels tenderness for the lady and their past struggle. I love it.

Lovely movement! The charcoal serves to enhance the blurry dance moves.

Connie, I love the movement and gesture in all of your work. You make it look easy, and we all know that it is not. Thank you for sharing.
