This 6 x 8" painting was done from a sketch I did this past summer at the rodeo - a guy hoping to stay on for 8 long seconds. I do use my camera but always have my sketchbook at hand and I rely on both for my final piece. So much of drawing moving subjects relies on working from memory and I need both camera and sketchbook to get the artwork I'm looking for. Thanks so much for stopping by!
