What an interesting scene. It makes me wonder about the story of it! As always, I love the visible brush strokes and splashes of light. Nice job, Connie!

Very painterly and intriguing. Can't help thinking about the story it tells. Wonderful detail on 6X6". Congratulations.

Thank you Elizabeth! I'm always interested in the story, too, and the emotional content is what attracts me to a scene. Of course, light, shapes, color all play a part - but I do love the story!

Connie, this so much reminds me of Bonnard/Vuillard. I love your figures in interiors.

Thank you, Sheila - what a nice comment! I used to spend hours at the National Gallery of Art with the Small French Paintings - love them!
