I do love charcoal sketches so much. They somehow often has more life than a real finished more detailed oil painting. I am a complete beginner in figurative work myself so I am might impressed :-))Trine
I also find charcoal sketches full of life and I seem to be less self-conscious when I do a quick sketch.
