Corinne - original oil pastel portrait

Although I absolutely prefer working from life, this piece was done from my photo of this model.  It's on 10 x 8" Ampersand Pastelbord with mostly Sennelier oil pastels from their portrait collection as well as some Caran d'Ache oil pastels.  Thanks for looking - and Happy Thanksgiving!

Blue Green - original oil pastel drawing of a nude model

More of my ongoing fascination here with this aqua-ish color and of course, my favorite subject - the nude.  I did this one on 6 x 8" mixed media paper, using Sennelier oil pastels.  They're yummy to work with!  Thank you for stopping by!

Lisa Playing the Flute - original oil pastel portrait painting

More blues and greens - always looking for an excuse to use these colors. Plus the touches of reds and orange.  Alex Powers says - and I believe him - but then I believe Alex Powers in all art matters - that one is drawn to either cool colors or warm colors.  If a painting is all warm colors, I feel like I'm in the middle of July - okay, being dramatic, but still.  This painting is on 5 x 7"  Pastelbord.  Thanks for looking!
