I was experimenting with this new - to me - thing. Heavily gessoed a piece of canvas, then covered a rectangle with a thick layer of watercolor. Drew her face with colored pencils.None of this is expertly done, you may have noticed, but it was such fun that I'll do it again. I need to figure out how to make some things more solid looking, but then again, maybe not. I'm also trying for a sort of imperfect, unfinished and worn look - sort of wabi sabi.
