Lexie with an Apple - original oil pastel figurative drawing

Here's a drawing of Lexie holding an apple - I just liked the looseness and relaxed quality she had while she took a break.  I did the drawing from life, then filled it in with color after she left.  It's all oil pastel - Sennelier and Caran d'Ache - on Sennelier oil pastel paper - about 15 x 12".  Thanks for stopping by!

I like that ease with which she poses, too! You've captured beautiful light in your painting.

Wonderful work. I play with oil pastels sometimes, very challenging.

This is really beautiful, Connie!! I've said it before, but I'm amazed how well you paint with oil pastels...such a difficult medium which you do so well with!!!
