Lisa Sleeping - original oil figurative painting

I loved painting this one, but initially I wanted to be less "above" the model. It worked out though, and it was a quick little "brushy"painting, too. It's always rewarding when you just go with it and don't think too much. Thinking

I really love the loose brushwork on this one. Not easy to do on such a small painting. Your blog inspires me to work quickly and smaller. I really like your charcoal drawing too. Full of movement.
