Waterlilies - original oil pastel painting by Connie Chadwell

This is something totally different for me - but I decided to depart from the usual.  I sketched these waterlilies with oil pastel on 5 x 7" Pastelbord last summer at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas.  The art is wonderful and the grounds are lovely - if you're in San Antonio, it is definitely a beautiful place to visit.  Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you, Myra. I was a little nervous about posting something not figurative, so I really appreciate your kind words!

Well don't be nervous Connie, this is a wonderful painting. I like these subtle pieces. Great design and execution.
