Sunbather II - oil figure painting

This painting is still so wet, but I posted it anyway. I did it with a limited palette and I was experimenting with mixing greys, as well as working on foreshortening. It's 6x6" on gessoed hardboard. Thanks for looking.

This is beautiful, love the painterly feel to it! AND it makes me wish I were that person laying in the sun!!!

Thank you Roxanne! I would also like to be on the beach right now - I'm freezing!

What a great idea to paint something that makes us want to plan our next beach vacation. The movement and brush strokes gives the painting a vibrance. Pat

After looking at your dancers, I can feel the music. Your paintings are jewels. So much movement and feeling in each one. Found your site from Brad Bisbey. Wonderful wonderful work.
