Lady in Red II - oil pastel figure


This is a companion painting to Lady in Red. It was tough to get the pose the way I wanted it. Sometimes my figure drawings seem to have their own minds and want their arms, legs, other body parts to do what they want and it's pretty difficult to convince them to do it my way.


It's 12" x 10" on sturdy, rag Stonehenge paper. Thanks for visiting my blog! SOLD

Darn, Connie, I am bummed that I missed grabbing up both of these wonderful ladies! And you know that RED is my Academy's signature color.

I would absolutely LOVE to see these lovely flamenco dancers done oil on canvas. If you ever are so inclined, let me know as I would love to add them to my collection.
